Everlore is a platform for stories within the mystery, horror and folklore genre

It holds a collection of free-to-read classics and public domain works, as well as access to new stories by independent authors for a monthly membership fee.

Everlore aims to provide readers with their favorite thrilling reads, and connect independent authors to their perfect audience

Highlights from the design process

User flows

After defining the user needs, user flows were created to clarify their journey within the app.

wireframes

Next step was creating a few iterations of wireframes that kept iOS Human Interface guidelines in mind

Brand identity phase

The app’s name Everlore is a reference to the belief that folklore and stories are forever, as well as a rhyming homage to the Raven in Edgar Allen Poe’s classic tale

Typography was kept classic, with iOS preferred fonts of New York and SF Pro

For all public-domain stories, custom images were created with the help of AI to represent the tone and plot of each tale
